Ministry of Justice’s inter-branch delegation work in Binh Duong

On October 25, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Ministry of Justice's inter-branch mission led by Vice Minister of Justice Phan Chi Hieu to inspect the inspection, settlement, review and systemization of legal normative documents. Attending the meeting were representatives of agencies, departments, unions in the province.

At the meeting, leaders of Provincial Department of Justice reported the inspection, processing, review and systemization works of legal documents in the provinces. Accordingly, the making and promulgating legal documents in the province was in order, meeting the requirements of state management in the province; Legal documents were promulgated in accordance with the legal process, were commented and evaluated before promulgation; most legal documents promulgated by Provincial People's Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of districts and communes ensures compliance with laws. From 1 Jun 2016 to 30 Aug 2018, Department of Justice advised Provincial People's Committee to carry out examination of 118 legal documents. In particular, 64 documents were promulgated in 2016 and 32 documents in 2017. In the first 6 months of 2018, 22 documents were issued.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hieu appreciated Binh Duong's achievements in the formulation as well as the inspection and settlement of legal documents. Deputy Minister of Justice suggested that Binh Duong reviewed, dealt with and rectified legal documents showing sign of wrongs or errors; the province should have close attention and supervision to timely supervise, review and systemize legal documents as well as pay more attention to legal personnel development in the province.
