New store opened to display and supply agricultural products

On 27 Dec, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with Binh Duong University, representatives of agricultural cooperatives held the opening ceremony of store for displaying and supplying agricultural products from cooperatives in the province. Mai Hùng Dũng, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; representatives of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development attended the ceremony.

In recent years, the province's agricultural sector has made good changes and gained encouraging results. Currently, the province has many high-tech agricultural areas, farms and cooperatives with good production practices according to VietGap, GlobalGap, and organic standards; cooperatives of safe vegetables, safe pomelo, and agricultural product processing facilities to ensure food safety... To implement the aforementioned synchronous solutions, the farms and cooperatives want to find a stable consumption market as a foundation to encourage the production and consumption of agricultural products in a sustainable way, towards a clean agriculture, providing safe agricultural products for domestic and export consumers. 

A store for displaying and supplying agricultural products was born with the purpose of supporting the consumption of agricultural products up to standards for agricultural cooperatives and cooperation groups in the province. This is also the place to introduce products and technologies studied and transferred by Binh Duong University.
