*The province has so far completed construction of 20 out of 32 local monuments, including those of Bau Bang’s victory, Phuoc Thanh’s victory, Dau Tieng’s victory, Tay Nam triangle relic site, Vietnamese heroic mother…Over the past time, the province excavated three archaeological sites at Phu Chanh’s Bung Sinh, Rua Island, Doc Chua in Tan Uyen district.

*The whole province now has 59 “southern folk opera” clubs with 800 members. Thanks to being created favorable conditions, they have absorbed more and more members. Some tunes have been turned into old and modern songs and they have been popularized across the country.

*The People’s Committee of Phu Tho ward in TDM city has just organized a culinary competition in celebration of Vietnam Family Day (June 28) with the participation of 7 teams representing 7 quarters.

The competition was a chance for the local families to share mutual experience in keeping family happiness through delicious and warm meals, aiming to honor the traditional Vietnamese family values. As a result, the People’s Committee of Phu Tho awarded 1 first prize, 1 third prize and 4 consolidation prizes to outstanding teams at the competition.
