North Tan Uyen District to install 3,400 electricity meters

Currently, the mid- and low-voltage grids in North Tan Uyen District are fully covered, ensure enough electricity for production and daily-life activities of the people. The entire district has now 335.059km of medium voltage grid lines and 222.390km of low voltage grid lines, 1,104 transformer stations, with a total capacity of 439,733 kVA. Since 2016, the district has installed 3,432 electricity meters, lifting the number of customers using electricity in the district to 17,493, reaching 99.9% of households. Due to the propagation of power saving among households, the annual average saving is more than 50 million kWh.

Besides, important electricity works in the district such as grid lines of 500kV Song May-Tan Binh, 220kV Song May – Uyen Hung, 110kV Uyen Hung-Dat Cuoc are completed and put into use, basically meet the power demand in the district. In addition, the electricity supplier invested and repaired the mid- and low-voltage grids with total length of 54, 6km and total fund of more than VND14.8 billion. In general, the electricity system basically ensures daily-life activities of the people and production activities of enterprises in the district.
