Over 1,600 agro-forestry and fishery samples under monitoring

Early January 11, provincial Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Sub-Department forwarded a conference to review its activities in 2016, the peak year on food safety in the domain of agricultural production.

One of the Sub-Department’s highlighted tasks last year was to monitor over 1,600 samples of various agro-forest and fishery products, up 14.6% compared to 2015. In 2017, the Sub-Department will further disseminate regulations on production and business ensuring food safety for facilities; carry out unexpected inspections; absolutely handle incidents on food safety; make periodic inspection tours over the origin of products…
