Over 3,500 workers in Bau Bang benefit from “Trade Union meal”

Bau Bang district is now home to 10 trade union locals organizing a “Trade Union Meal” program for workers. Among them, there are 8 trade union locals from enterprises and 2 from State agencies. A total of 3,520 workers have benefited from these meals, with a total expenditure of more than VND 297 million.

The value of the “Trade Union meal” is equivalent to the value of daily meal plus additional value from Trade Union funds and contributions from social sources.

For these meals, the additional value from Trade Union funds increased by the average of VND 50,000 per meal per person. Notably, many trade union locals have organized meals valued at VND 80,000 per meal per person. The “Trade Union Meal” clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Trade Union in taking care of workers’ lunch. This activity reflects solidarity and sharing among workers, Trade Union and leaders of enterprises in the district.
