Over 39,000 needy cases get help during Humanitarian Month

Under the Humanitarian Month 2020, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels called on donors to make contributions and offered help of more than VND15.68billion  to 39,114 local poor, near-poor cases, lonely elderly people, needy children and disabled people via many practical activities such as providing free medical check-up, medicine; building, upgrading “red cross” houses; awarding scholarships; supporting loans for economic development…

Provincial Red Cross Society also opened a facility supplying free necessities for the poor at No.104, 30/4 street, Phu Hoa ward, TDM city. So far, this facility has donated necessities to more than 5,407 needy people, due to Covid-19 pandemic.
