Over 40 sub-unions for young workers set up

Early December 17, Thuan An town’s People’s Committee held a conference to partially sum up the three-year implementation of provincial Project on Uniting and gathering young workers for the period of 2016-2020 and implement 2019’s plan.

After three years of implementing the project, the town set up 44 young worker sub-unions with nearly 2,400 members; established 8 youth sub-unions at non-State enterprises, 3 sub-unions for alien youths…with many outstanding models, namely “Youth bookstore”, “News-bulletin for young workers”, “Haircut club”…

At the conference, delegates also discussed issues on gathering youths and taking care of young workers who are Khmer ethnic minority people; making law dissemination among young workers; recommending outstanding young workers into the Communist Party of Vietnam…

On this occasion, the town’s People’s Committee honored 20 outstanding individuals in the implementation of the project for the period of 2016-2018.
