Over VND1.3bln raised for TDM city’s Fund for the Poor

TDM city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC)has just held a conference to review its activities in 2014 and implement orientations, tasks through 2015.

Reportedly, the city’s FFC and its membership organizations in 2014 promoted patriotic emulation movements, improved campaigns’ quality, contributing to successfully realizing the local targets on socio-economic development. They also sped up propaganda work with 2,768 shows organized, absorbing 287,646 participants. The movement of “The entire people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” continued effectively being implemented with 95.4%, 85.9% and 96.3% of families, quarters and lodging facilities recognized as cultural ones. In addition, the city’s authorities at all levels and people from all strata contributed more than VND1.3bln to the local Fund for the Poor.

The city’s FFC also teamed up with relevant agencies to ensure the local order and security.
