More than 4,200 individuals and units were mobilized to develop Phu Giao district’s Support Fund for Farmers with more than VND2bln over the past five years. Upon the fund, the district’s Farmers’ Society considered and gave support of more than VND1.95bln for 451 farmer households.

 

Also during the time, the district’s Farmers’ Society worked with the district’s Bank for Social Policy to consider and disburse more than VND34.4bln in loan for 2,634 households; teamed up with the district’s Division for Economics, Plant Protection Plantation, Agricultural Promotion Station, Veterinary Station to open 733 training courses on transfer of sci-tech advancements in cultivation and animal husbandry, 372 classes on how to use pesticides and prevent diseases in plants for the local farmers…
