Tan Uyen district’s Women’s Union mobilized many different sources to provide 1,497 women with more than VND10bln in loan to develop their homebased business for a stable life in the first half of the year.

Particularly, the local Women’s Union maintained and promoted the movement of “Women helping each other in economic development” with more than VND1.1bln in loan provided for 923 needy women from 467 well-off ones. Under the “Saving Day for Poor Women” campaign, VND255mln in loan was mobilized for 125 women. The model of “Tan Uyen’s women with credit saving” also collected more than VND232mln with 4,250 members. The figure has brought  total savings from the model so far to nearly VND7bln with 359 groups and 11,126 members.

Such these apart, the local Women’s Unions at all levels introduced jobs at firms to 270 women and 81 others also were created favorable conditions for taking jobs at home with stable income.
