Authorities at all levels of Tan Uyen district took good care of needy people during the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.

Particularly, more than VND 11.75bln from State budget of all levels was spent on presenting gifts and cash for policy beneficiaries and needy people during Tet. Of the total figure, VND622.4mln came for central State budget, more than VND7.58bln from province’s State budget and more than 3.54bln from district’s State budget

The district’s agencies, mass organizations, communes and townships also mobilized 6,535 Tet gifts worth more than VND1.9bln for policies beneficiaries and poor people.
