Over VND5billion spent on taking Tet care of workers

Provincial Labor Union held the “Tet sum vay” (Gathering in Tet holiday) program 2019 yesterday evening, in attendance of Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council together with hundreds of workers.

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee offered 10,350 gifts worth approximately VND5.2billion to civil servants and laborers with extremely difficult circumstances. The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) gave 1,000 bus tickets for workers to return their hometowns for Tet. MobiFone also offered 600 Tet train tickets to workers. Whilst, Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company and Vietinbank donated VND300million to trade unionists and workers with extremely difficult circumstances…
