*P&G Vietnam to expand production in Binh Duong

 

Mr.Olcer Emre, General Director of P&G Vietnam Co.Ltd. yesterday paid a courtesy visit to provincial leaders on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam

At the reception, Mr. Mai The Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee yesterday spoke highly of the investment effectiveness of P&G Vietnam in Binh Duong as well as the company’s good execution of Vietnam’s investment laws and its efforts in environment protection and social charity activities. He also expressed his desire that the company would further introduce Binh Duong’s investment climate to U.S investors while saying that provincial leaders would continue creating favorable conditions for investors, helping them effectively operate.

Mr.Olcer Emre also expressed his delight at the province’s socio-economic achievements and informed provincial leaders about the activities of the company’s two factories in Binh Duong. According to him, the two factories reached high growth over the past five years. It is expected that the company will pour additional US$30mln to improve its production capacity in September ahead. P&G Corporation is also intending to invest its third factory in Vietnam and Binh Duong will be prioritized for the investment.

Addressing the reception, Mr.Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee believed that P&G Vietnam would continue getting more successes while applauding the company for its production expansion in Binh Duong in the coming time.
