Parents' Association of oversea students in Canada to donate VND60 million to Bau Bang District quarantine area

On 25 August, Parents' Association of oversea students in Canada offered VND60 million to forces and personnel on duty at Bau Bang District quarantine area (photo). 

Representatives of the Parents' Association also thanked the forces performing duties to helped their children complete the prescribed quarantine time. Prior to that, Parents' Association of oversea students in Canada also presented 155 fans and VND 30 million in cash to help quarantined people and forces on duty in the quarantine area.

Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, Head of Executive committee of Bau Bang District District Covid-19 prevention area, said that 305 Vietnamese people repatriated from Canada were sent to quarantine from 11 August 2020, and so far have completed the 14-day quarantine period. The second testing results of SARS-CoV-2 virus (on 23 August) of the 305 people were negative. According to the plan, on 25 August, these people received certificate of quarantine completion to return to their family.
