Petroleum enterprise fined over VND 884 million

Binh Duong Market Control Division has recently coordinated with the authorities to implement professional measures for checking and screening in the province to detect a petrol and oil trading enterprise with signs of quality violations.

Accordingly, the agency suddenly inspected Sao Mai Saigon Joint Stock Company at Song Than station of Binh Duong 1 neighborhood, An Binh ward, Di An city. After conducting a quick test, two Ron 95-III gasoline samples were also sent to the authorities to confirm the failure to meet technical regulations.

Previously, this company sold more than 15,000 liters of gasoline with quality not conforming to technical regulations; the value of infringing goods sold was at nearly VND 354 million. The provincial Market Control Division submitted to the provincial People's Committee for consideration and decided to sanction with an amount of over VND 884 million.
