Phu Giao district farmer’s society helps farmers make wealth

Over the past years, Phu Giao district farmer’s society has constantly promoted its role of helping farmers overcoming difficulties. Therefore, many local farmers have thus far escaped poverty and enjoyed a stable life.

According to the Phu Giao district farmer’s society, the society has cooperated with functional agencies to disburse more than VND104bil for 4,858 farmer members to help them develop homebased economy. Along with solving capital sources, the society in coordination with functional agencies holds training classes on sci-tech transfer on agricultural production for farmers through holding seminars and surveying models of agricultural economy, implementing models of safe vegetable production and more.

Bui Van Quen, chairman of Phu Giao district Farmer’s Society said that the above activities help local farmers escape poverty. Many farmers become typical examples of production and business at all levels. They include Nguyen Ngoc Diep in Phuoc Vinh township, Luong Van Song in Phuoc Hoa commune, Phung Van Thuc in Tam Lap commune. They are typical farmers being awarded merit certificates of the Government Prime Minister.

The very economic models of mentioned farmers help place jobs and stable income for hundreds of laborers, bringing income worth billions of dong. Promoting the done results, Bui Van Quen, chairman of the farmer’s society said that the organization will in the coming time work with functional agencies to transfer sci-tech applications for farmers. In addition, the society will continue to build many typical models to help farmers escape poverty and make wealth.
