On August 11, a delegation of provincial Steering Board of Collective Economic Development, led by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Collective Economic Development.
The district now has a total of 7 cooperatives mainly operating in the fields of animal husbandry, agricultural production, transport and credit. There are also 29 linkage groups and 4 cooperative ones with 305 members.
Reportedly, district-based cooperatives and cooperative groups have given mutual support on capital, brought sci-tech advancements to farmers, taken full advantage of the local resources, creating the premise for a new business way towards production at market needs. As planned, from now to 2017, the district will boost mobilization in order to set up at least 2 cooperative groups and 2 cooperatives.
For better development, Mr.Liem required the district to strengthen the local Steering Boards of Collective Economic Development at all levels; boost a task of disseminating support policies on collective economic development…
