Phu Giao organizes children’s forum 2022

Early October 21, Phu Giao district’s People's Committee held the Children's Forum 2022 with the theme of "Joining hands to protect children, speaking up to prevent and combat child abuse and violence".

At the forum, 3 groups representing children in 11 communes and towns of the district reported the results of discussion around the topic of "Joining hands to protect children, speaking up to prevent and combat child abuse and violence". After that, these children had a dialogue with leaders of the district’s departments, sectors and mass organizations, on the issues related to child education, care and protection, and the implementation of children's rights. Many questions raised by them were answered specifically and satisfactorily by representatives of the local departments, sectors and mass organizations.

The district’s People's Committee said that the organization of the forum aimed at creating conditions for children to express their opinions and awareness about the implementation of children's rights and issues of concern to them so that all-level authorities and sectors could promptly advise on regimes and policies for children, creating better conditions for them to study, train and develop comprehensively.
