Phu Giao preliminarily sums up five implementation years of resolution on the construction and development of Vietnamese culture and people

Party Committee of Phu Giao district held a conference to preliminarily sum up five implementation years of Resolution No. 33 of the 9th Conference of the 11th Central Party Committee on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet demands for sustainable development of the country”.

Thanks to the implementation of Resolution No. 33 and Action Program No. 88 of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the 9th Central Resolution, officials, party members and people’s awareness of the role of culture was raised, affirming that culture was a spiritual foundation of society, both a driving force and a goal to facilitate local socio-economic growth; building a culture in the political system, of every community, agency, unit, business, and every family, with a connection to the "All people unite to build a cultural lifestyle" movement, being actively supported by all levels, sectors, and people. As a result, after 5 years, the number of families, residential areas, and agencies achieving cultural titles increased significantly. The preservation and development of traditional culture of ethnic groups associated with socio-economic growth received much attention from Party committees; ethnic festivals were restored, such as: Seasonal Festival of San Chi, Tam Lap, and Chol Chnam Thmay of Khmer people... Cultural and sports institutions were gradually built and improved.

On this occasion, People's Committee of Phu Giao district rewarded 5 collectives and 15 individuals, who achieved outstanding achievements over the 5 years of Resolution No. 33 of the 11th Central Committee.
