Phu Giao’s Club for the Retired reviews year’s activities

On December 19, Phu Giao district’s Club for the Retired and Liaison Committee for Former Revolutionary Prisoners held a conference to review their activities in 2017.

In 2017, the two units disseminated the Party’s resolutions among 100% of cadres and members; joined hands with mass organizations to take part in environmental hygiene; maintained sports movements; raised gifts for youths joining the army; mobilized and built 1 gratitude house worth VND150million for a member; maintained 4 lonely elderly people; mobilized members to help each other in economic development with more than VND1.3billion; presented 18 gifts to former revolutionary soldiers…Members of the two units also actively got involved in Party and government building; educated youths about revolutionary traditions, aiming to enhance their sense of responsibility and pride of the national and local historical traditions.

On this occasion, the organizers awarded the certificates of merit of the district’s People’s Committee to 11 collectives and 18 individuals; the certificates of merit of the district’s Club for the Retired and Liaison Committee for Former Revolutionary Prisoners to 5 collectives and 2 individuals for their excellent performance in 2017.
