Throughout the nation's history, generations of Vietnamese youth, in general, and Binh Duong youth, in particular, have always upheld the tradition of patriotism. They are not afraid of difficulties and hardships, and have made many contributions to the cause of building and defending the country, developing the economy, society, and building the homeland.

To unify, gather young workers

68 years ago, on October 15, 1956, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Youth Front Mobilization Committee held a congress, deciding to establish the Vietnam Youth Federation... Throughout the periods, although having different names such as the Vietnam General Youth Union, Vietnam General Youth Federation, Southern Liberation Youth Federation, Vietnam Youth Federation, the nature and goal of this association has always been to unite all classes of youth, arouse and encourage patriotism, national pride, so that each young person can maximize their abilities and contribute to the Fatherland.

Over the past 68 years, the Vietnam Youth Federation has continuously grown and expanded in both size and quality, established many new member organizations and operated effectively. In particular, organizations such as the Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Young Doctors Association, the Young Science and Technology Intellectuals Association, the Young Artists Club, etc. have contributed to gathering and uniting young people from many fields and locations. In addition, clubs of youth start-ups, voluntary blood donation, environmental protection, and crime prevention... have created diversity in the association's activities. Currently, the Vietnam Youth Federation has a system at 4 levels from central to grassroots. The association's role, position, and prestige continue to be enhanced, fostering solidarity among the youth and providing the strength to fulfill the political tasks of the country and locality.

Always be pioneers and volunteers

The Vietnam Youth Federation of the province has worked hard to uphold the proud traditions of previous generations by making efforts to innovate and be creative in organizing activities that are closely aligned with the legitimate needs and interests of the youth. The movements and campaigns launched by the association have created an environment for members and young people to practice, contribute and bring benefits to the community. From here, the organization was strengthened and developed; the front for gathering and uniting youth in all fields became increasingly widespread.

2024 is the first year to implement the Resolution of the 8th Provincial Youth Federation Congress, term 2024-2029. Immediately after the congress, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Binh Duong province simultaneously launched the "Youth day of action to implement the Resolution of the 8th Binh Duong Provincial Youth Federation Congress, term 2024-2029". Namely, many creative activities and effective methods continue to be applied and put into practice. Some noteworthy programs are "Collecting smart electronic devices - Giving to people having difficult circumstances", activities to improve digital capacity, "Pink Semester" to take care of children of young workers, "Caravan Journey - I love Binh Duong" and volunteer teams participating in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The association's chapters have collaborated with Youth Unions to organize various programs and activities aimed at helping young people establish their careers. They have also supported the material and spiritual well-being of young workers through initiatives such as donating "Dream Rooms," establishing the "Youth Model Dormitory," and organizing the "Journey to connect young workers" project. In addition, the association's chapters have actively volunteered in summer youth volunteer campaigns. The province-level Youth Federation carried out campaigns of "Pink Holiday - Green Summer" and "Binh Duong Youth Journey for the Homeland's Sea and Islands" in 2024 in Phu Quy island district and sent young teams to participate in building new rural areas in Long Thuan commune, Ben Cau district (Tay Ninh province). In this year's summer volunteer campaign, international youth affairs are also well performed.

Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation, said that the Secretariat of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation focuses on organizing, implementing and promoting the movement "I love my Fatherland" to raise awareness among young people about patriotism, self-reliance, self-reliance, cultivating ambitions and ideals, enthusiastically responding and actively participating in movements and campaigns proposed by the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation. Besides, the association inspires young people to cultivate solidarity and self-awareness through various activities and campaigns such as studying, training, and volunteering for community development. This contributes to the strength of young people in building a prosperous and civilized homeland in Binh Duong.
