Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Deputy Chairman had checking sessions at Phuoc Hoa irrigation construction site, An Thai high-tech agricultural zone in Phu Giao District, and at Phu Binh forestry farm which is now a one-member limited company.

 

Phuoc Hoa irrigation dam, contracted by Sinohydro of China, is expected to be impounded by March 2010 to reserve water; however, it was now 3 months behind. Addressing the meeting with contractor Sinohydro, Deputy Chairman Tran Van Nam called for measures from this contractor to improve progress with quality and efficiency maintained during and after construction. He also suggested that the contractor should inform of difficulties so that the provincial authority can support. On the other hand, he demanded the contractor to observe regulations and laws in Vietnam and direction of functional bodies in Binh Duong in terms of personnel and labor.
