At present, retail prices of some vegetables and fruits at markets in Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An towns have started increasing. At Thu Dau Mot market, prices of bitter melon, field cabbage… have surged additional VND2,000 per kg whilst the highest increase is in coriander, up VND20,000-25,000 per kg.

Some small traders at the market, said owing to hot weather, many vegetables of coriander, cabbage and among others are in poor harvest whilst purchasing power increases highly. Therefore, hike price is an evident matter.
