Propaganda of water, environmental protection and sewage connection

On April 10^th, TDM City Natural Resources – Environment Bureau and TDM City Sewage Treatment factory held a propaganda conference of water, environmental protection and sewage connections for over 150 representatives from People's Committees, organizations, units of wards of Phu Tho, Phu Hoa, Phu Loi, Phu Cuong, Hiep Thanh, and over 150 representatives of typical households.

At the conference, TDM City Natural Resources – Environment Bureau introduced the importance of water in life, risks of pollution, and environmental protection measures; domestic wastewater connections in wards. TDM City Sewage Treatment factory went into operation and is considered the most modern factory of Vietnam; the community has also paid attention to the connection of domestic wastewater from households to the general collection system.

In addition to free services in the first stage according to the PPC’s direction, customers of sewage connection is supported loans with installment payment. The average cost for the installation of sewage connection is from VND3.5 to 5 million/m depending on project’s size. The conference also directly answered many questions of representatives.
