Industrial parks (IPs) under provincial IPs Management Board have so far absorbed 4,294 foreign employees, up 18.2% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Among them, there are now 3,820 experts, up 29% against last year’s same period.
In September, provincial IPs Management Board granted 69 labor licenses to foreigners, bringing the total number of such granted labor licenses in the first nine months of this year to 1,876, three times higher than the same period last year. The figure has lifted the total number of licensed foreigners working in IPs under provincial IPs Management Board up 2,910, or 82.8% of the total numbers of foreign experts working in businesses in the province.
In the first nine months of this year, provincial IPs Management Board also granted an extension with labor licenses for 172 foreigners, bringing the total number of foreigners getting the extension to 870 or 29.9% of the total number of licensed foreign experts.
