Job assurance

According to Le Nho Luong, Chairman of province-based Ips’Trade Union,  job assurance is defined as a top task of trade union locals. Hence, they need to coordinate with businesses to create a safe, friendly and effective working environment; build up harmonious, stable and advanced labor relations; launch emulation movements among laborers, enhancing productivity and quality of products, winning faith of businesses’ partners in order to ensure stable jobs. They also need to mobilize laborers to constantly improve their skills, creating an important position in the process of production-business so that their jobs are assured…

The above things were well realized by trade union locals via the movement of “Working well, working creatively”. Every year, there are more than 1,000 technical initiatives and innovations from the movement, contributing to raising productivity, minimizing environmental environment, cooling down product prices…for businesses’ better development.

Welfare programs for trade unionists

One of main contents of the Year for the benefit of trade unionists is to give better care for the material and spiritual lives of laborers and trade unionists. Mr.Luong said that trade union locals have been proactive to negotiate and sign collective labor deals with better provisions for laborers, especially trade unionists. They have also overseen the implementation of collective labor deals towards quality and efficiency.

As of late 2016, there were 375 businesses with trade union locals setting up working regulations or 96% of total; 338 making salary scale and payroll adjustment or 86% of total; 157 with collective labor deals or 40% of total. Trade union locals were also proactive to proposal businesses to establish committees on food safety; enhanced the quality of implementation of democratic regulations at the grassroots level…Additionally, there were 63 businesses organizing conferences for laborers or 15.5% of total, 137 forwarding periodic dialogues or 35% of total…

Noticeably, province-based Ips’Trade Union linked with businesses, partners to deploy welfare programs on food, convenient services, healthcare…for trade unionists.

With practical activities, it is hoped that laborers and trade unionists will enjoy better care this year.
