Province’s export turnover continues surging

The province’s export turnover for key products in the first half of 2016 continued rising up. Particularly, woodwork industry reached US$1.17billion in export value, representing a surge of 7.5% compared to the same period last year or 10.9% of the province’s total export turnover. The industry’s export turnover by the end of the year is likely to achieve US$2.4billion.

Meanwhile, garment-textile industry’s export turnover was estimated at US$1.03billion, up 7.1% against the same period last year or 9.6% of the province’s total export turnover. Footwear and pottery industries also secured US$968million and US$55.7million in export turnover, up 7.2% and 10.8% over the same period last year, respectively…
