Province’s export turnover in first 5 months of 2015 reaches 33.6% of yearly plan

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s export turnover in the first five months of 2015 continued growing compared to last year’s same period.

Particularly, total export value of woodwork industry rose by 17.3%; footwear by 13.9% and garment-textile by 11%.

Major export increases were in phones and their components (up by 15.8%) or 8.7% of the province’s total export value; computers and their components (17.8%) or 5.5% of the province’s total export value.

The province’s export turnover in the first five months of the year was estimated at more than US$7bln, up 16.4% compared to last year’s same period or 33% of the yearly plan. Of these, the domestic investment sector reached more than US$1.2bln, up 16.7% while the foreign investment sector achieved more than US$5.7bln, up 16.3%.
