Province’s export turnover reaches nearly US$5.7bln

 The province’s export turnover reached nearly US$5.7bln in the first nine months of this year, up 22.3% against last year’s corresponding period. Of these, the domestic investment sector achieved US$1.183bln, up 6.3% while the foreign-funded sector gained US$4.479bln, up 27.4%. There were key export products with high growth, including woodwork up 10.9%, processed food up 17.6%, footwear up 12.8%, garment up 15.8%, and electronics up 58.1%....

 

Also during the time, the province reached US$4.537bln in import value, up 21.3% compared to the same period of last year. The province’s trade surplus was estimated at more than US$1.125bln. With the figure, the province has become one of the country’s localities with the highest trade surplus at present.
