Provincial Buddhist Sangha and Phuong Trang Group donate medical equipment and supplies for Covid-19 fighting

On Sep 9, Phuong Trang Group (FUTA Group) continued to donate more medical equipment and supplies to Binh Duong province to serve the prevention and control of Covid-19. Receiving the donation were Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

A representative of Phuong Trang Group said that, in order to join hands with Binh Duong province to perform well the prevention control of Covid-19, the group has made many donations of medical equipment and supplies to Binh Duong province. Due to with the complicated developments of the pandemic and the urgent demand for medical equipment and supplies, this time, Phuong Trang Group continued to present 10 more HFNC ventilators, 500 oxygen generators and 1,000 SPO2 oxygen measuring instruments to support the the care and treatment of Covid-19 patients.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nguyen Loc Ha expressed his deep gratitude and acknowledged the valuable and practical contributions and support of Phuong Trang Group to the Covid-19 prevention control in Binh Duong province. These medical equipment and supplies timely aided the prevention control of Covid-19 in the province.

* On the afternoon of September 9, Nguyen Huynh Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, received donations to the Covid-19 prevention and control of Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Head of Executive Board of Provincial Buddhist Sangha.

This time, Provincial Buddhist Sangha donated 10 oxygen generators, 5,000 N95 masks, 5,000 medical masks, 200 SPO2 meters, 200 bottles of hand sanitizer, 30 cartons of cereal milk, and 1,000 sets of medicine for F0. All were donated by Giác Ngộ Pagoda to Provincial Buddhist Sangha; then Venerable Thich Hue Thong gave all to the province to serve the Covid-19 prevention and control.

Nguyen Huynh Dinh received the meaningful contribution from Venerable Thich Hue Thong in particular and Provincial Buddhist Sangha in general to the province's Covid-19 prevention and control; and expressed deep gratitude to Giác Ngộ Pagoda. Nguyen Huynh Dinh said, this support shows the spirit of humanity, solidarity and companionship of Provincial Buddhist Sangha and the authorities at all levels in the prevention and control of Covid-19. This support helps the health authority have more favorable conditions to carry out effectively disease prevention and control activities, as well as provide additional support for F0s in the treatment process and quickly recover from the disease.

After receiving the donation, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated these to provincial General Hospital unit to quickly put into use, support the prevention and treatment of Covid-19 patients.
