Provincial leader welcomes Chinese Consulate General

On January 24, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Ngo Tuan, the new Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in HCM city (photo).

At the reception, Mr.Hung thanked the new Consulate General’s visit. He also spoke highly of activities of Chinese enterprises, contributing to the local socio-economic development. Along business doings, they actively got involved in the local social welfare activities. In 2018, Binh Duong province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Guangzhou province and sent delegations to the locality for cultural and experience exchange, contributing to tightening bilateral relations.

For his part, Mr.Tuan congratulated Binh Duong on its achievements last year, especially in export-import value and FDI attraction. He affirmed that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China have so far risen to a new height and reached results. On behalf of the Chinese Consulate in HCM city, he wished leaders of Binh Duong province good health, successes while wishing the province successes in 2019.
