Provincial leaders receive Vietnam Electricity Group’s delegation

On 19 Mar, Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial NA delegation, received a delegation of Vietnam Electricity Group, led by President Duong Quang Thanh, to visit and work in Binh Duong. At the meeting, Mr. Nam thanked the group for their support for Binh Duong in implementing electricity saving program, aiming at building a smart, friendly and modern city.

* Also on the same day, Mr. Thanh and the delegation had a working session with Provincial People's Committee on the execution, compensation and ground clearance of power grid projects in the area. Mai Hung Dung, Provincial Party Standing Committee member, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with the delegation. At the meeting, leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group proposed that Provincial People's Committee to support the land clearance and compensation, so that the projects could be soon executed.

Mr. Dung thanked Vietnam Electricity Group for their attention and cooperation, and pledged to accompany, support units in the investment and construction of electricity projects according to the National Electricity Development Plan for the period of 2011-2020 approved by the Prime Minister. Provincial People's Committee also asked Electricity Project Management Board - Vietnam Electricity Group to conduct well surveys before the implementation to ensure progress. Especially the compensation and clearance plan needed to apply the best price frame and the best solution to receive the agreement, cooperation of local people.
