Provincial leaders visit, extend Christmas greetings to local Christians

On the occasion of Christmas 2019, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, visited and congratulated Catholic dignitaries and parishioners in the province.

The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Council together with representatives of provincial Department of Home Affairs, sectors and mass organizations.

The delegation visited and congratulated Phu Cuong bishop’s office, Phu Cuong main church and Giuse church in TDM city’s Hoa Phu ward. In the visiting places, Mr.Thao acknowledged contributions by Catholic dignitaries and parishioners while wishing them a peaceful and happy Christmas with more contributions to the local development.

For his part, Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc, Bishop of Phu Cuong diocese thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for the Catholic community to live under the motto of “good life, good religion” and make contributions to building up a more and more prosperous, beautiful Binh Duong.
