Provincial leaders visit, offer gifts to policy beneficiaries and workers living away from home with difficult circumstances

Early January 31, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee and provincial delegation visited and donated gifts to policy beneficiaries and workers living away from home with extremely difficult circumstances in Di An city on the occasion of the 2024 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.

The delegation visited and donated 150 gifts worth VND 1.5 million each, including cash and necessities, to children with extremely difficult circumstances in Binh An ward, poor people and workers living away from home with difficult circumstances. Next, the delegation visited and gave gifts for the family of Trinh Van Dieu, a war invalid, born in 1946, living in Binh An ward’s Noi Hoa 1 quarter; Nguyen Dinh Tho, a Party member with 70-year Party membership badge, born in 1933, living in Binh An ward’s Binh Thung 2 quarter; Tran Thi Tinh, a poor alien worker at Han A Production and Trading Co., Ltd. Each case was awarded VND 5 million in cash together with a gift.

On behalf of provincial delegation, Mr. Thao extended best regards to policy beneficiary families, elderly Party members and trade unionists while sharing with difficult circumstances. He also wished families a joyful, warm and happy Lunar New Year 2024.

*On the morning of the same day, Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and provincial delegation visited and offered Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor households, children and workers in Tan Uyen city. The event was attended by Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission along with leaders of Tan Uyen city, local departments and sectors.

At the hall of Tan Uyen city’s People's Committee, the delegation presented Tet gifts to 150 people, including 20 gifts for children with extremely difficult circumstances, 80 gifts for the poor, 50 gifts for workers living far from home with difficult circumstances. At the gift giving ceremony, Mr. Dung sent Tet greetings and encouraged the local policy beneficiaries, households, children, and workers with difficult circumstances.

Next, the delegation also went to Khanh Binh, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Vinh Tan wards and extended best regards to workers with extremely difficult circumstances; visited, donated gifts and extended Tet greetings to the Missile Battalion 45 and families with contributions to the revolution.
