Provincial Party Committee Secretary receives Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam

On the afternoon of March 17, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation received Yamada Takio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments and sectors in the province.

At the reception, Mr. Loi expressed his pleasure to welcome the Ambassador and briefly introduced the local socio-economic development achievements, especially during 25 years of construction and development. Accordingly, from a agricultural locality, Binh Duong has had a spectacular development to become one of the Southern Key Economic Zone and whole country’s fastest growing localities. He said that the province's development results over the past time were significantly contributed by Japanese enterprises.

Speaking at the reception, Ambassador Yamada Takio spoke highly of the local rapid development and thanked the local authorities for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises to work. He said that many large Japanese enterprises and corporations have invested in Binh Duong. Tokyu Group is a typical example. Affirming that Binh Duong has a very good investment climate, the Ambassador wanted that Japanese enterprises will further invest in the province.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi and Ambassador Yamada Takio agreed to organize many cooperation activities in the field of economic development as well as cultural and sports activities towards the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and  Japan (1973-2023).
