Provincial Trade Unions at all levels spend nearly VND500 million on supporting anti-Covid-19 frontline forces

According to statistics from provincial Trade Unions at all levels, 4,270 workers in the province have been affected by Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to some F0 workers, there are 573 F1 cases under concentrated isolation, 2,269 F2 cases under isolation at home and 1,387 people in medical isolation, blockage areas.

It is known that provincial trade unions at all levels supported VND 3 million for 1 F0 worker.  65  F1 workers were supported VND 1.5 million per person while 39 F2 workers and 78 workers in quarantine zones also received the support level of  VND 500,000 per person.

Provincial trade unions at all levels also gave many gifts and necessities for workers in quarantine areas; spent nearly VND 500 million, including more than VND 208 million from their  budget, nearly VND 300 million in cash and goods from socialization sources, on supporting 16 anti-Covid-19 frontline units.

Currently, provincial Labor Union continues mobilizing businesses and donors to make contributions to the local Covid-19 prevention and control fund and the "Vaccines for workers" program launched by provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. As of June 21, provincial Labor Union received more than VND 7.5 billion from 396 units and individuals in support of the local fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
