In response to World Environment Day (June 5), provincial Youth Union has implemented an action plan with many substantial activities, aiming to actively contribute to protecting the environment.

Since early this year, provincial Youth Union has made a plan on propaganda activities of the environmental protection to its affiliates. The “Day for the Environment”, the “Green Day” campaign…were also launched in Di An town with the participation of large crowds of the local youths. Especially, more than 2,000 local youths participated in the youth work of “Clearing Cai stream” with total length of 25km and working days worth VND50mln.

Provincial Youth Union now makes preparations in response to World Environment Day (June 5). Beginning from June 5, provincial Youth Union will launch the “Green Sunday” campaign with many activities on environmental protection. Many other programs on environmental protection will be also organized by provincial Youth Union and its departments, including a talk show themed “Binh Duong’s youths for a green environment and sustainable development”, a youth festive day named “Binh Duong’s youths for a green, clean and nice city”…

All the above actives and programs will contribute to raise awareness of the youths in particular and the people in general on environmental protection towards sustainable development.
