Research and innovation activities achieve many positive results

In 2024, science, technology application, innovation and research activities continued to receive significant attention and investment from Binh Duong, achieving many positive results. Specifically, Binh Duong ranked 8th in the Provincial Innovation Index (PII) in 2023 and was recognized in the Top 4.0 Industry of Vietnam in 2024. The Prime Minister also awarded the National Quality Gold Prize to 3 enterprises and the National Quality Award to 1 enterprise from the province.  One more science and technology enterprise was developed in the province.

Provincial Department of Science and Technology (DoST) also managed 47 research topics, projects and organized 34 events, seminars, training sessions on science, technology and innovation across the province. In addition, provincial DoST actively promoted and implemented a communication plan for the Smart City project—Binh Duong's Innovation Region, which was honored as the Top 1 ICF.
