Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Early August 16, provincial Labor Union organized the awarding ceremony of CEP fund scholarships 2012 for 44 poor-but-excellent pupils across the province.

Each scholarship is worth between VND700,000 and VND2mln plus learning tools. As planned, province-based CEP fund this year will award 938 scholarships worth more than VND1.2bln for poor-but-excellent pupils, helping them further pursue their learning.

On this occasion, the “House of CEP” program funded construction of a house worth VND30mln for Pham Thi Viet, a loan borrower of CEP fund in Phu Loi ward’s quarter 9 and gave VND10mln for upgrading a house of Vuong Thi Nhi, a loan borrower of CEP fund in Phu Hoa ward’s quarter 9.

It is known that the total cost of the two programs “CEP scholarship” and “House of CEP” over the past four years is estimated at nearly VND10bln.
