Nguyen Hong Cuong, the owner of a 50-hectare pigs breeding farm in North Tan Uyen district’s Tan Dinh commune said that he decided to build a concentrated pigs breeding farm here because the locality has had an environmentally friendly animal husbandry zone with sci-tech application. Upholding local advantages
Till now, there have been 99.5% of people in North Tan Uyen district in use of power. The district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in the first three months of 2016 was estimated at VND458bln, up 13.93%. The province’s total production value of industry and home industry reached VND661bln, a year-on-year increase of 11.65% or 24.55% of the year’s plan. The district also absorbed additional 16 businesses outside industrial parks and compounds with total investment capital of more than VND80bln.
According to leaders of the district, in the coming time, the district will further make investment in technical infrastructure for agricultural production. The district will also step by step form up a hi-tech agricultural park at market’s demand. Particularly, the district will focus on developing various industrial trees, including rubber, fruit ones, and large-scale animal husbandry farms in the northern region. The district will give support for hi-tech agricultural projects; make intensive cultivation for clean fruits and vegetables in communes along Dong Nai and Be rivers; strengthen investment attraction in terms of agriculture and rural development; shifting the local agricultural structure towards hi-tech application for better results…
Such these apart, the district will bend on animal husbandry development, raise the proportion of this field in the local agricultural structure; build up a synchronous system for disease prevention and control in poultry and cattle, ensuring the effective implementation of the local green development strategy and fight against climate change.
As of late 2015, the proportion of industrial production accounted for 33.24% of the district’s economic structure; agricultural production, 40.1% and services, 26.66%. District-based industrial parks and compounds in the first three months of 2016 attracted additional 11 new investment projects and there were also 16 firms outside the local industrial parks and compounds with total investment capital of more than VND80bln.
