Summarizing 17 implementation years of Politburo's Directive 30-CT/TW on democratic regulations 

On July 7^th, Ben Cat town Public Relations Committee held a conference to summarize 17 implementation years of Directive 30-CT/TW 1998 of the Politburo regarding implementing democratic regulations at grassroots level.

After 17 years, town, communes, wards disseminated directives, decrees, and ordinances among Party members through over 1,000 meetings with the participation of nearly 42,000 persons; units, organizations held nearly 9,000 meetings for 345,000 members; 17,000 meetings for 684,000 persons of all people strata…

After 17 years of democratic regulations construction and implementation at grassroots level, the Party and State responded promptly to aspirations, pressing issues of the people, thus receiving consensus from all people strata. The implementation of democratic regulations has changed all levels and all people’s perceptions of democracy and democratic practices.
