Summarizing the scheme supporting poor youth’s establishment and the movement of the youth join hands to construct new rural

Morning Dec 23, provincial Youth Union held a meeting to summarize the scheme named “Supporting poor youth’s establishment, poverty alleviation” and the movement named “The youth join hands to construct new rural” in the 2011- 2015 period.

After 5 implementation years, the scheme was carried out synchronously in all aspects, like: propaganda, supporting business activities, accommodation, education, vocational training and job creation ..., and brought about good results. There were 157 saving groups for loans managed by Youth Unions at 57 communes, wards and towns. Total loan outstanding was over VND100.8 billion, granted loans to 5,748 households; established 54 youth cooperatives for business starting, 56 youth model of home-based businesses, 2 youth cooperatives…

In addition, “The youth join hands to construct new rural” movement of the province in the 2011-2015 also achieved many encouraging results.

At the conference, provincial Youth Union commended 10 individuals, 9 collectives having outstanding achievements while implementing the scheme; 17 individuals and 17 collectives of the movement “The youth join hands to construct new rural” in the 2011-2015.
