TDM city‘s plan on voluntary blood donation in 2024 implemented

On March 14, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city held a conference to implement provincial People's Committee’s Directive No. 02/CT-UBND dated February 21, 2024 on strengthening mobilization for voluntary blood donation in 2024.

Accordingly, the city is assigned a target of receiving 3,450 units of blood. To complete the assigned target, the city's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has implemented a plan to propagandize and mobilize the local people to participate in the local voluntary blood, tissue, organ and body donation movement this year.

Specifically, in 2024, the city’s Red Cross Society and its branches will widely propagandize and deploy the meaning and purpose of participating in voluntary blood, tissue, organ and body donation to officials, civil servants, armed forces, workers in companies, factories and people from all strata. The city will also organize activities to attract the participation of Youth Union members, youth, pupils and students in the local voluntary donation movement.
