Tet gift for heroic Vietnamese mother Tran Thi Khanh

Leaders of provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE) visited and presented a gift to heroic Vietnamese mother Tran Thi Khang, born in 1935, in Dau Tieng district’s Dinh An commune on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2017. It is known that her husband and son sacrified their lives for national liberation during the anti-American struggle.

Here, Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Director of provincial DoNRE burn incense to commemorate heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for national freedom and independence while offering a gift worth VND5.5million to the mother. Although being small, the gift bears a profound spiritual significance, showing the affection of provincial DoNRE’s staff for the mother.
