The 1st quarter 2016, transport infrastructure investment to reach over VND276 billion

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in 2016, the province will allocate funds for 42 projects with a total capital of VND818.843 billion. During the 1^st quarter 2016, transport sector made a total investment of VND276.498 billion (33.8% target); disbursement value was VND348.732 billion (42.6% target).

Besides, the implementation progress of projects is on schedule. Namely, the project of upgrading and expanding DT744 road (including bridges) from the Km12+000 to the Km32+000, will be allocated VND65 billion in 2016 and disbursed VND62.711 billion in the 1^st quarter. The construction unit is awaiting land clearance to continue the construction of remaining items; the project of upgrading Dong Nai River’s embankment from Rach Tre bridge to Tan Uyen town People’s Committee, will be allocated VND94.2 billion in 2016 and disbursed VND11.771 billion in the 1^st quarter.
