The 2nd Binh Duong Province Environmental Day 2016 to kick off
In response to the World Environment Day (Jun 5), morning May 29, Binh Duong Province Department of Natural Resources - Environment in cooperation with Thuan An Town organized the 2nd Binh Duong Province Environmental Day 2016. Attending the festival were leaders of the province and districts, towns and city, departments, agencies, and over 800 youth union members, teachers and students of 23 schools in Thuan An Town.
At the festival, addition to the opening ceremony, many exciting activities took place, like: exhibition of paintings, models, and works; games; booths of garbage exchanging for gifts; skits flash mob dances… On this occasion, Department of Natural Resources and Environment granted 36 prizes upon individuals and collectives winning environmental knowledge contests…
The Environmental Day was to mobilize the mass to participate and contribute to raising awareness, changing behaviors of the people in environmental protection.
