The 5th Binh Duong Customs Party Congress to be serious, democratic, procedural

On March 14^th, the 5^th Binh Duong Customs Party Congress (tenure 2015-2020) was held seriously, democratically, procedurally. Party Standing Committee’s Deputy Secretary cum provincial People’s Council Chairman Mr. Pham Van Canh attended the meeting.

Seriously, democratically

Morning March 14^th ,more than 160 Party members of 11 cells under Binh Duong Customs Party Committee attended the 5^th Binh Duong Customs Party Congress (tenure 2015-2020). After performing flag salute, national anthem, the congress occurred orderly and procedurally.

The highlight of the meeting was the election of Binh Duong Customs Party Committee’s Executive Committee (tenure 2015-2020) and a delegation to attend superior congresses.

Speaking at the meeting, provincial agencies bloc’s Party Secretary Mr. Nguyen Van Lieu appreciated careful preparation for the congress. He also stressed, the 5^th Binh Duong Customs Party Congress (tenure 2015-2020) happened seriously, democratically, and procedurally. Mr. Lieu noticed, after the congress, the Executive Committee need to complete opinions collecting on Draft of documents report and review; review key tasks, targets to set up annual action plan, regulations of the Binh Duong Customs Party Committee.

Gathering high intellects

After 2 working days, the 5^th Binh Duong Customs Party Congress occuured democratically, gathered high intellects, according to provincial agencies bloc’s Party Committee. Review works evaluated precisely practical situation, outstanding achievements, clarified existing shortcomings in the implementation of the 5^th Party Congress Resolution (tenure 2010-2015). At the same time, the congress set out objectives, tasks, specific solutions, orientations for Binh Duong Customs Party Committee’s leadership. Officials elected to the Excutive Committee have met common standards, expectations of the innovation integration process, especially young cadres with good virtues, talents. 

Binh Duong Customs Party Secretary Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung said, as one key congress of provincial agencies bloc’s Party Committee, Binh Duong Customs Party Committee prepared carefully for the congress. Personnel preparation for the congress followed Party's regulations, charters. Approved documents at the congress demonstrated wills, strong determination of Binh Duong Customs Party Committee in the new tenure.

In the new tenure, Binh Duong Customs Party Committee will continue to improve Party leadership, capacity, fighting spirit of cells and officials to build up strong Party. Binh Duong Customs Party Committee will continue to enhance learning and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh according to Politburo’s Directive 03; combine the implementation of Central Resolution 4 (term XI) with political tasks of the department; cultivate, standardize officials to meet requirements of modernization reform; bring new blood into leading cadres, especially ones with foreign-language proficiency. Binh Duong Customs Party Committee will strengthen inspection and supervision on Party building, and implement effectively Binh Duong Customs Party Congress’s Resolution (tenure 2010-2015), Resolutions of provincial agencies bloc’s Party Congress, provincial Party Congress, and the 12^th National Party Congress.

The 5^th Binh Duong Customs Party’s Executive Committee (tenure 2010-2015) consisted of 15 cadres including Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung as Party Secretary. The delegation attending superior congresses comprised 7 official cadres and 1 reserve cadre. The Executive Committee set out some key targets: 100% Party members were trained on Party’s policies, guidelines, directives, and resolutions, maintaining the title of "strong and transparent” Party Committee annually; over 98% of Party members fulfilled assigned tasks; over 70% cells achieved "strong and transparent”; admitting 35 new Party members.
