The 8th legislature of People’s Council will decide organizational structure and titles, said Vu Minh Sang

 Provincial People’s Council is planning to start up the 8th legislature congress to decide its organizational structures of and position titles in People’s Committee as up coming event after the national election of delegates to NA and local people’s councils. Mr. Vu Minh Sang, permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People’s Council, answered to an interview.

 

Reporter: Quality of delegates has been dramatically improved. Would you please elaborate this?

 

Mr. Vu Minh Sang: The election has resolved structural and quality issues of delegates who will represent public people in the political system. The 63 elected delegates are allocated in a suitable manner of quality to satisfy the public people’s needs.

 

- By June 17, a new session of People’s Council congress will start. What is new on the upcoming agenda?

 

Mr. Vu Minh Sang: The first congress for a new tenure is vital for organization and operation of authority regime throughout the tenure. On the agenda will be election report, certification of delegate position, decision of titles and positions in People’s Committee and People’s Council, election of people’s jury under provincial People’s Court.

 

The first session will help to select qualified delegates in terms of knowledge, ability and conduct to take burdents of major work for the cause of sustainable development of Binh Duong province.

Unity and democracy will be upheld to reform operations of People’s Council and improve surveillance of public people against policies and vital duty of the Party, the State and the province, contributing to national defense, security  and success in the 2011-15 socio-economic phase.
