Morning Aug 2, VSIP Nghe An Company held a ceremony to start the construction of VSIP Nghe An wastewater treatment plant (1st phase). This was an important part of VSIP strategy to build up an environmentally friendly industrial urban service complex in Nghe An.
Phase 1 of the wastewater treatment plant will have a capacity of 6.000m3 / day and night, and is expected to be completed in Aug 2017, will meet wastewater treatment demands of VSIP Nghe An in the first phase. The next phases will be developed, when customer demands in Nghe An increase. Total designed capacity of the plant is 20,000m3 / day and night. After finishing, this wastewater treatment facility will be able to the needs of 28,000 persons across 750ha of the project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Edwin Chee, Deputy CEO of VSIP Nghe An Company, said the construction of VSIP Nghe An wastewater treatment was very important not only to demonstrate the company's commitment to Nghe An province in creating a clean development environment, but also to contribute to attracting investment in VSIP Nghe An, because wastewater treatment problem is one of investor’s top concerns.
Earlier, in Jul 2016, VSIP Nghe An started the construction of factory buildings with an area of 5,000m2. Until the end of the year, the company will continue constructing next important projects, such as administrative buildings, pumping stations and fire stations, to serve first customers in the fourth quarter 2016. There are now 2 clients signing investment contract with this industrial park.
